Blue Adobe "Santa Fe" Grille "Our Story"

Established in June of 2000, Jose Cruz Leyva (Chef/Founder) created An American Grille influenced by the town of Santa Fe, NM. Major Santa Fe influences include Pecan Wood and Hatch Chiles from Hatch Valley, NM. We also serve indigenous "New" Mexican Cuisine like Stacked Enchiladas, Rellenos, Red Chile Pork Posole, Carne Adovada and Soppapillas.

What sets Blue Adobe "Santa Fe" Grille apart from other Southwestern restaurants, or for that matter other New Mexican restaurants, is our Flavorful Spice. Chef Leyva's ability to deliver spice while maintaining incredible flavor is our great separator. Chef Leyva's New Mexican-American Fusion will ruin you for Traditional Mexican Food in Scottsdale.

Right from the beginning you will experience the pecan wood difference with our complimentary Tri-Colored Corn Tortilla Chips and Pecan Smoked Flavored Salsa. Our salsa is darker than most due to blackening of tomatoes and onions over pecan wood. Get the Green Chile Lobster Dip to compliment the Chips & Salsa, unless you can't afford to be here every day. Guacamole and Bean Con Queso are also incredible complements.

For those who like traditional Mexican, we also offer Quesadillas, Nachos, Tacos, Tamales and Chimichangas. There is something for everyone...Soup & Salad, Sandwiches, Burgers, Seafood, Pasta and Pizza. Our Blue Plates (Southwestern Cuisine Typically found in the Four Corners States) features Chorizo Stuffed Chicken, Raspberry Chipotle Pork Tenderloin, Lobster Macaroni, Last Night's Meat Loaf, Las Cruses Kabobs and Enchanted Garden Enchiladas. All of our Steaks are corn fed and originate around the I-29 corridor of Iowa and Minnesota. The Beef Tenderloin absolutely pops off of the pecan wood and prepared with 5 different menu options.

One last note on the menu, we are a scratch kitchen. Just the production of the Red & Green Hatch Chile will impress. On top of that, our core ingredients are well utilized all throughout the menu. This allows us to get through our ingredients which provides for buying power and freshness for our guests. Our Amenities include a Spacious, Comfortable & Shaded Patio, In Door/Out Door Full Bar with 18 seats at the bar, Live Acoustic Music Thursday - Saturday Night, Daily Promotions, Features and Engaging Guest Services in an Upscale Casual Environment.

Our mission is to create a new standard in the hospitality industry while exceeding the expectations of our Co-Workers, Guests and Community. I have been in the industry since my Bobby McGee’s days of the late 80's. I have never worked in an establishment where people won't stop talking about how great the food is at Blue Adobe. We hope to match your dining experience with the same magnitude of our incredible cuisine. Margaritas too!
