Carne Adovada
Although it is a New Mexican thing, one of the hottest adovadas with which you’ll ever ignite your tongue is found in Arizona, at Blue Adobe, which bills itself as a Santa Fe grill. It is ember -red, and chiles seem to saturate every fiber of the tender pork. The warm flour tortillas – a Sonoran Desert touch are welcome heat dampers, as are pinto beans and rice.

Good food, Friendly Service
We love ‘The Blue’! The service is always good and the food delish. The guac is fabulous with just enough bite. Highly recommend!

Taliesin West “Frank Lloyd Wright Museum”
We were visiting Taliesin West and asked the guide to recommend a good Southwest restaurant nearby. He told us about Blue Adobe “Santa Fe” Grille and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed by the owner and promptly seated. The food was outstanding and the service matched the cuisine.

Delicious food with helpful service.
I’m a vegetarian who eats eggs and cheese, and when I inquired about their beans, etc being vegetarian, the server promptly listed a few items that I would not have thought contained chicken broth. He suggested some options, and never made me feel like I was putting anyone out. Their salsa verde is made with avocado, and is divine! Everything was beautiful and filling and delicious! Highly recommend!

One of the best meals of our vacation.
From the exceptionally good chips and salsa that kept getting resupplied no matter how much we ate to the really good food and great service – we were very satisfied with the Blue Adobe.

Hooked!
I ordered the seafood enchiladas. My friend ordered the chorizo stuffed chicken. Once my friend to her first bite, she was hooked. I actually heard a groan of satisfaction escape her. That says a lot considering she ran her own restaurant and is pickier than I am with my food. My seafood enchiladas were delicious! The seafood wasn’t rubbery or overcooked. The salmon inside was tender and perfectly cooked.

Albuquerque?…Quite the compliment!
The Blue Adobe Santa Fe Grille would be the Best Restaurant in Albuquerque if it was there.

Better than Tex Mex…
Went to Blue Adobe on Tuesday. The Owners greeted us and remembered us from our previous visit. Tuesday is Taco Night and a Taco Plate is only $6.95. I ordered the taco plate and a margarita. My wife and son split the pulled pork salad. Both meals were excellent. The service was also impeccable. I would highly recommend the Blue Adobe.

Neighborhood Gem
This is some of the best Mexican food in the Scottsdale area! The service is very good, and the atmosphere is perfect for a lunch with friends or dinner with a date. Their seafood specials are wonderful, the lobster tamale is amazing! And you can buy their fabulous salsa to take home–it is better than any I have had in Phoenix. I’m so glad to have found this local gem.
